About Sue
Sue and I met when she was looking for a show dog. We eventually decided to team up and while not exactly partners we work as independent members of the Sonrisas team.
Sue Magoss has been involved in dogs for more than thirty years. She has almost always handled her own dogs in both obedience and conformation. Sue was involved with Mastiffs when she first started in dogs and was a member of the Mastiff Club of America where she co-chaired a national Specialty and was trophy chair another year. During this time she also showed several Mastiffs to their championship. Since Sue was also showing Quarter Horses and decided to look for another breed which she could bring along to the horse shows and decided on the Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

Sue was active in Pembroke Corgis and while living in California, Sue became involved with the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of Southern California where she worked in almost every position and committee available. She served as vice president for over fourteen years and worked at supported entries, chaired one regional specialty, was trophy chairman, hospitality and or grounds chairman for over fifteen years.

Sue was invited to join the Pembroke Welch Corgi Club of American when she served as Co-Chairman of a National Specialty. Sue bred numerous Pembrokes that continued on to championships in conformation and obedience, agility and herding. Many of these Corgis were multiple specialty and groups winners as well as group placement winners.

After Sue lost her last multiple MBISS CH Ch Romx Corgi she decided to become involved with a breed that was more easy going. She was thoroughly impressed with the amount of health testing that is done by most breeders that she knew this was her next breed of choice. Since Sue works in a veterinary office and thus realizes and values the importance of continued and conscientious testing. It was at this point that I met Sue when she came to me to purchase a show puppy.

I believe that Sue will be an invaluable asset to the Havanese Club of America because of her multiple breed club experiences, dedication to health testing and all around experience not only in club affairs but in conformation , obedience, herding and agility.
